God calls us into His eternal glory, restores us, and perfects us.

10 Ways to Receive God's Glory
Glory! Glory!

The Lord God will strengthen us to follow these 10 ways to receive God’s glory. May the God of all grace perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you as you endure temporary suffering, enabling you to receive God’s glory in 10 different ways. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you after you have suffered a while. —1 Peter 5:10.

God will restore or perfect us. He will make us strong, firm, and established. We may feel weak now. We can sense ourselves being worn out and diminished and watch as all our opportunities and prospects in this life shrink away. But once our God intervenes in our behaviour, God will restore every lost thing of value and much more.

Today’s passage from Chapter 1 reminds us that strength will come from our suffering, for the Lord is the God of longsuffering. After our suffering, God will “restore, confirm, strengthen, establish and prosper” us (5:10). He will fully empower us to stand firm for Him amid all tribulations.

Did you know that the Bible tells us that God is the One who establishes us, teaches us how to make wealth, and prospers us?

What does establish mean?

It means to make firm or stable; to cause to grow and multiply; to confirm, make fast, strengthen. That no evil power can come against you no matter what. These are what the Bible means when it says about after you have suffered awhile.

Psalm 30:5 says, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” When your morning arises, as you pray in Jesus’ name, all your troubles are over. And you can now possess the eternal glory of the Lord to His joy.

Now, what is God’s eternal glory?

10 Ways to Receive God's Glory
Hallelujah.

Before the world’s inception, Christ had His glory alongside His Father communally. The eternal glory of God refers to the uncreated, majestic beauty and splendour that surpasses anything within the created realm.

What does the glory of Jesus mean?

The Greek and Latin word Gloria means splendour and brilliance. Jesus was filled with and marked by splendour—but of a different kind. John goes on to describe the glory they saw: glory as of the only Son from the earther, full of grace and truth.

Follow strictly the 10 ways to receive God’s glory:

1.    Praise:

May your ceaseless expressions be filled with unending praise for Him. Let the words that flow from your mouth be a constant hymn of adoration and gratitude towards His divine presence. May your heart be a sanctuary of worship, where His praise echoes eternally. Let your devotion resound through every moment of your existence as an offering of reverence to the

Almighty. Thus, is this the easiest way to gain all 10 ways to receive God’s glory?

2.    Obedience

If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God: Deuteronomy 28:1-2

3.    Pray in Jesus’ name:

Therefore, God exalted Him to the highest place and gave him the name above every name. In the name of Jesus, every knee should bow. In heaven, on earth, under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11.

4.    Grow fruit of the Spirit.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things, there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23. We ought to pray for spiritual growth for us and our children.

5.    Sexual purity.

God’s Word about purity regards our hearts, mind, and soul. God calls us to live a holy life free from evil and wicked ways. Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually sins against their own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18. No one who engages in sexual sin can access any of the 10 ways to receive God’s glory. Period!

6.    Seek the good of others.

1 Corinthians 10:24 tells us, No one should seek their good, but the good of others. Also, Philippians 2:3-8 warns, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your interests but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus to glory God.

Who, being in the very nature of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped? But made himself nothing, taking the very essence of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death, even death on a cross!

7.    Give generously.

Blessed is the one who considers the poor! In the day of trouble, the Lord delivers him; the Lord protects him and keeps him alive; he is called blessed in the land; you do not give him up to the will of his enemies. The Lord sustains him on his sickbed; you restore him to total health in his illness. Psalm 41:1-2. There are benefits to giving.

8.    Live honourably among unbelievers.

Be diligent in filling your ceaseless days with the praise of the Almighty. In every moment, live honourably among unbelievers, demonstrating a righteous character that surpasses their accusations. By virtuously conducting yourself, they shall witness your honourable behaviour and, in turn, glorify God when He judges the world (1 Peter 2:12).

9.    Confront to the image of Christ.

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So, God created mankind in his image; in God’s image, he created them, male and female. This is God’s intention for man, His highest creature.

10. Confront death with faith.

Jesus predicted Peter would die as a martyr and “glorify God” in his death (John 21:19). Paul hoped that his death would glorify Christ (Phil. 1:20). Remember the 12 disciples who were martyred for this reason to gain all 10 ways to receive God’s glory?
