Why is Jesus truly unique in the entire history of religions.

In a way that no religion or philosophy has dared to imagine, Jesus died humiliated, abandoned by men and by God, among sinners. The second characteristic feature of the figure of Jesus contrasts completely with the claim to divinity. It is about the extreme humiliation of Jesus in the hour of his passion.  Here we touch on the absolute paradox of the disfigured figure of Christ.

He who made the exorbitant claim to be God’s own Son dies in the silence of God, apparently abandoned by “his” Father: “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? » ( Mk 15:34 ). This cry is borrowed from Psalm 22, of which Jesus proclaimed with a loud voice the first verse; it so impressed the listeners that Mark, like Matthew, reports it in the original language, Aramaic: Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachtani?

The absolute paradox

The paradox is total. The one who gathered the crowds and led disciples behind him dies alone, abandoned, and even disowned, betrayed by his own. The living par excellence (“I am life”) is counted among the dead. The innocent par excellence, the saint of God — “Which of you will convict me of sin? » ( Jn 8:46 ) – dies like one without God, in the solitude and distress of sinners. He who claimed to be the very expression of the Father (“He who sees me, sees the Father”) and whom Saint John calls the Word or the Word of God, here he is reduced to the silence of death. The Almighty, whose works amazed the crowds, can no longer do anything, he is reduced to impotence and responds nothing to those who accuse him or question him ( Mk 15, 4-5 ) as to those who mockingly invite him to save himself by coming down from the cross ( Mk 15:29-32 ). He who presented himself as a spring of living water springing up into eternal life ( Jn 7:37-39 and 4:13-14 ) agonises, murmuring: “I am thirsty” ( Jn 19:28 ). Who will ever measure the extreme opposition, the absolute contrast of such a paradox?

Humiliating death at the heart of its mission

This trait, too, is unique. Indeed, the mythical universe is familiar with the idea of the suffering god and even the dying god. However, this is precisely a mythical conception, not an assertion about a specific historical figure. Furthermore, suffering is understood as a marginal ordeal that temporarily masks the beauty of the immortal god. Jesus, on the other hand, goes to death at the heart of his mission. He walks towards his hour, towards the formidable baptism of his Passion, as towards the decisive test where everything is at stake: “I must be baptized with a baptism, and how oppressed I am until everything is completed” ( Lk 12:50 ). He goes so resolutely and with such terrible lucidity that the disciples are appalled: “They were on their way, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus walked before them; and they were afraid, and those who followed were afraid. And taking the Twelve with him again, he began to tell them what was going to happen to him: “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and the scribes, and they will condemn him. to death, and they will hand him over to the nations, and they will mock him, and they will spit on him, and they will scourge him, and they will kill him, and three days later he will rise again” ( Mk 10:32-34 ).

The only humbled God in history.

Judaism is the only one among the pre-Christian religions that was aware of God’s personal action in history. But he did not glimpse the reality of the crucified God. indeed the enigmatic picture of a suffering Servant, crushed by the ordeal and saving In the Book of Isaiah, we find the multitude after having borne the sin of the guilty. But Israel would never have identified this servant with the glorious figure of the messiah and, even less, with a divine person. The Gospels also enlighten us on the difficulties that Jesus experienced, even among his disciples, in getting his contemporaries to accept the idea of a spiritual messianism whose accomplishment would come, not through a political triumph, but through an abyss of suffering prelude to the emergence of a new world, that of resurrection.

The Suffering Servant

This explains the paradox that it is in the Old Testament, not in the New, that we find the most astonishing description of the second characteristic feature of the figure of Jesus, namely his extreme humiliation at the hour of his passion. It is worth rereading this page, one of the most moving in the Jewish Bible, where the prophet describes the suffering Servant and glimpses the fruit of his passion, even if the veil which covers this mysterious face only lifts when we contemplate in Jesus this “Face full of sweat and blood” that Bach celebrated in his Passion according to Saint Matthew. So read or reread Isaiah 52:13 to 53:12.

Lent: four tips for purifying your desire for God

In a reflective tone, Dom Samuel, Abbot of Nový Dvůr in the Czech Republic, offers some ideas for renewing our outlook, based on the themes of the Gospel of Ash Wednesday.

The Christian who enters Lent knows too well that specific desires he experiences obstruct his encounter with God. Yes… But can’t we use these desires to excite our desire for God?

1 WHEN YOU PRAY, DO NOT BE LIKE HYPOCRITES

Prayer… How can we doubt its role in Lent? For a Christian, it is like a reflex, an evidence of faith. If turning to God should be almost natural, anyone who has prayed regularly for a few years knows what it costs. Prayer, desire, or duty? I would say: desire at the beginning, then duty, then purified desire. Desire or absence of passion, pleasure or absence of pleasure, joy or absence of joy. These fluctuations also inhabit the life of prayer.

2 WHEN YOU FAST, DON’T LOOK DOWNCAST

Desires and desires, pleasures and pleasures, not all are exact or equally recommendable! What is the meaning of these desires that break our hearts, which we cannot stifle, and which follow us like a shadow? Desires to shine, desire to dominate, to be right, to please or to appear, and so many others… Approached in a Christian way, all these desires, even the heaviest, become capable of sharpening the desire for God. Considered in their human dimensions, these passions are discovered in mutual relationships. Desire is capable of leading to pleasure, and pleasure is like a resonance of joy. It happens—we all experience it—that desire leads to a pleasure sought for its own sake and found without joy. Too short desires which make us attentive to other calls, to the great call of the Good News.

3WHAT YOU DO TO BECOME RIGHTEOUS, AVOID DOING IT TO GET NOTICED

The Christian faith can be instilled in children from a young age. We breathe it with family love. We learn the rites at the same time as the rules of social life. It can get lost in the sand during adolescence or reveal itself in adulthood. Whatever the personal history of each person, the hunger for God must necessarily become, one day, a primordial hunger, an aspiration built on the experienced precariousness of other goods within our reach: the hunger for this famous food which abide in eternal life which only the Son of Man can give ( Jn 6:27 ). We cannot clearly explain what we are hungry for, but the hunger is there, obvious; also evident is the impossibility of being satisfied by what is within our reach.

This hunger, therefore, sharpened by the disappointment of what does not satisfy, awakens the consciousness of the desire for God which inhabits us, of a desire which constitutes us in our humanity since we were created. This hunger, moreover, reveals that this desire will be realised by a gift from God, and by this gift only, since he alone knows how to turn the heart of man towards him. Hence prayer: asking God for what only he can give, what without which life would have no meaning, his friendship, his grace. The word “friendship”, in the relationship with God, designates, from a reality that is familiar to us, an exchange where God is the giver: “Friendship [of God], that is to say, the grace,” writes Father Sesboüé. And since there is an exchange, the one who asks, the one who prays, rises by giving himself to the giver. If we wish to become righteous, let us ask for it and receive it.

4WHEN YOU GIVE ALMS, DON’T SOUND THE TRUMPET

The fact that there is a donor does not mean that the receipt of the donation is automatic. Our freedom comes into play here, better than anywhere else. Free, we are by nature, and if we ceased to be, we would cease to be men. A germinal freedom, a vocation to liberty, was deposited in us by God when he created us. We are well aware that we often struggle to exercise it truly. Acting freely, God cannot do it for us, because the characteristic of a free being is to be the responsible cause of their actions. When our freedom is enslaved, we wander from unfulfilled desires to disappointing pleasures. As soon as it grows, the more spontaneous it is, the more our freedom becomes delight and happiness. Freedom, how to define it? Just as friendship with God evokes grace, the freedom of God’s children is synonymous with love. Saint Augustine distinguishes freedom from free will, the ability to choose this or that. Freedom, a capacity to love… Let us therefore give God the alms of our hearts. Without Him, we are nothing but dust; with Him, we become sons and daughters of light.

Did you know this 1 incredible daily Bible trivia?

How Jesus, like God’s wrath, is righteous.

Did you know the first commission or first evangelists were Mary Magdalene and the other Mary, who went to look at the tomb (Matthew 28:1)? In a very real sense, Jesus commissions these women as the first evangelists. They will bear the good news that Jesus has risen from the dead before anyone else.

Did you know about the pattern of God’s creation in Genesis chapter 1 during the first half of the creation “week”? In each instance, God speaks, His words are fulfilled, He names His creation, and then declares it good. The Bible assigns a number to each of the creative days. Each of the first three days establishes the conditions necessary to support what God will create during each of the last three days.

Did you know
Did you know God provided for man before creating him?

Did you know from this daily Bible trivia that Jesus, like God’s wrath, is righteous, as is all He thinks and says? That’s why our attempts to be good don’t matter as much as the goodness of Christ in us. Christ will save our souls within us. All we need to do is cease our sins and humbly accept—or continue to accept, or deepen our acceptance of—the gospel of Christ.

Did you know the name of the first musician on Earth? Jubal was his name. His brother’s name was Jubal; he was the father of all who play stringed instruments and pipes. (Genesis 4:21)

Did you know that? The concept of the kinsman-redeemer was one of God’s measures to combat poverty in the Mosaic law. A relative was meant to purchase a man’s land if he fell so deeply into debt that he could not repay his creditors.

Did you know? To support her mother-in-law’s family, Ruth offers herself in marriage to a respectable man. By placing Ruth in the lineage of the Messiah, God restores the honour of Lot’s daughter when she asserts her initiative (Ruth 4:17-21; Matthew 1:1-17).

Jesus at the Feast of Booths in Jerusalem.

Did you know that many people misunderstand Jesus’ spiritual teachings to refer to anything physical? The term “the Jews,” as it appears in the gospel of John, refers to the religious authorities and adherents of Jerusalem.

Tell the Israelites, “I AM has sent me to you.” Did you know that Jesus made this assertion repeatedly?” The statement “I AM” appears seven times in the Gospel of John, indicating that He is God. The Gospel of John (John 8:12) emphasises this assertion in detail, stating that there are Jesus’s seven “I AM” declarations. In this argument, Jesus made these claims for the second time: “I am the light of the world” (John 8:12).

Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day; he saw it and was glad.” Jesus suggests that Abraham, a holy man, anticipated the arrival of the Messiah and “joyed” when Jesus’ day ultimately arrived. How Jesus chose to phrase things in the original Greek indicates a profound, innate, and organic understanding.

His detractors laughed at this shocking yet compelling discovery, asking, “You’re not even fifty; how can you have seen Abraham?” Because it is an exceptional statement, Jesus responds with what some call the “hidden ‘I AM'” remark. Paradoxically, this is the most straightforward use of this phrase by Jesus.

Did you know
But worth knowing.

Everyone who hears Jesus declare, “I AM,” understands what He means—that He is God (John 10:33). Those who argue that Jesus never claimed to be God should consider the response of the religious establishment to His teachings. They are so furious that they make an immediate effort to stone Jesus (John 8:59).

Did you know these divine, mysterious wonders fully?

Did you know that, despite their immortality, leviathans, or mermaids, would not eat if God doesn’t feed them? “There the ships go to and fro, and Leviathan, which you formed to frolic there. All creatures look to you to give them their food at the proper time,” Psalm 104:26-27. In vain, the people worship these devils, who call themselves gods and goddesses but cannot feed or save themselves.

Jesus’ public ministry begins and ends in John chapters 7 and 8. In these verses, He publicly refutes the Jewish leaders’ errors in faith and reveals His involvement in humanity’s redemption. Do you know this fact?

Did you know that, save Jesus, no human has ever stepped foot on this Earth with the same or greater glory as Adam? And who’s the funniest prophet in the Bible? Jonah is Amittai’s son. Indeed, according to Matthew 6:6, God, who is invisible and all-knowing, sent Jonah to Nineveh.

Instead, Jonah went down to Joppa and sailed for Tarshish, fleeing from the Lord. He was so convinced that God would not see him that he went to sleep beneath the ship’s deck. What could be more amusing? What splendid daily Bible trivia!

Did you know that nowhere in Esther’s books—from chapters one to ten—does it mention God? However, while reading the book of Esther, one will undoubtedly realise that God orchestrates every event within it.

Praise the Lord; my soul forgets not His benefits.

Are you aware if you serve other gods, even unwittingly, as if someone is leading you to sin? Do you understand that you are cursed? Sin can only occur when you fail to follow the Lord’s commandments; otherwise, it cannot take place.

Did you know that fire descended from heaven in the days of Moses, David, Solomon, and Elijah? On all those occasions, God sent the fire by His own will. Only Elias called for the fire triad among these great men of God.

The fires that fell from heaven are as follows: the Korah and Abiram incidents and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Additionally, Revelation 13:13 and 20:9, Genesis 19:24, Leviticus 9:24, 1 Chronicles 21:26, 2 Chronicles 18:38, 2 Kings 1:10-12, 1 Kings 18:38, and Job 1:16 all mention fire from heaven. The Lord—He is God!

Did you know that the disciples cannot comprehend the concept of “the church,” let alone form it, without the guidance and influence of the Holy Spirit?

Did you know
The mysteries of God in the Bible: Did you know?

Did you know? Korah, On, Dathan, and Abiram brought nothing into the world, like everyone else. However, they took away everything they had, which is an abomination. Lesson: Do not bury the dead with anything. “With everything they owned, they went down alive into the realm of the dead (Numbers 16).”

Did you know that only three individuals, from Adam to Christ, did not encounter death? They went directly from Earth to heaven.

  • Enoch walked with God, but he was no more; God took him.
  • Then Melchizedek, king of Salem, brought forth bread and wine, symbols of Christ.
  • In the whirlwind, Elijah ascended to heaven, the Bible states.

Did you know that the devil once disappeared from the Earth?

Did you know there was a time when devils disappeared from the Earth’s surface? After the flood completely receded, God asked Noah and his family to “come out of the ark.” The Earth resembled a washed, dirty cloth, gleaming white and pristine. Then, the Earth became a place where the devils could dwell.

Then Noah constructed an altar for the Lord, took every clean animal and bird, and offered burnt sacrifices. The Lord detected a soothing aroma, confirming it. The aroma brought pleasure to God, and all was clean. Everything was clean; God made a promise.

“I will never again curse the earth for man’s sake, although the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I destroy every living thing as I have done.” Genesis 8:20-21. This changed when Noah proclaimed, “Cursed be Canaan; he shall be a servant of servants to his brethren,” which led to the devils returning to enact the curse against Ham (Genesis 9:25).

How many people in the Bible killed lions? Three!

  1. In the fields, David killed the lion and the bear with his bare hands while watching over the sheep.
  2. Samson witnessed a lion charging at him. The Spirit of the Lord came upon him with such might that he tore the lion apart with his bare hands.
  3. Benaiah, son of Jehoiada, achieved remarkable feats. He chased a lion into a pit on a wet and snowy day. Then, despite the snow and treacherous ground, he apprehended the lion and killed it.

10 Ways to Receive God’s Glory Always.

God calls us into His eternal glory, restores us, and perfects us.

The Lord God will strengthen us to follow these ten ways to receive God’s glory. May the God of all grace perfect, establish, maintain, and settle you as you endure temporary suffering, enabling you to enjoy all the 10 ways to receive God’s glory in ten different ways. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you after you have suffered for a while. —1 Peter 5:10.

God will restore or perfect us. He will make us strong, firm, and established. We may feel weak now. We can sense ourselves becoming worn out and diminished, and we observe as all our opportunities and prospects in this life gradually diminish. However, when our God intervenes in our behaviour, He will restore every lost thing of value and much more.

Today’s passage from Chapter 1 reminds us that strength will come from our suffering, for the Lord is the God of longsuffering. After our suffering, God will “restore, confirm, strengthen, establish and prosper” us (5:10). He will fully empower us to stand firm for Him amid all tribulations.

God establishes us, teaches us how to make wealth, and prospers us.

What does establish mean?

It means to make firm or stable; to promote growth and multiplication; to confirm, secure, and strengthen. No evil power can come against you, no matter the circumstances. This is what the Bible refers to when it speaks of what follows after you have suffered for a time.

Psalm 30:5 says, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” When your morning arrives, as you pray in Jesus’ name, all your troubles are over. You can now possess the eternal glory of the Lord for His joy.

Now, what is God’s eternal glory?

Before the world’s inception, Christ shared His glory with His Father communally. The eternal glory of God refers to the uncreated, majestic beauty and splendour that surpasses anything within the created realm.

What does the glory of Jesus mean?

10 ways to receive God's glory
He is the King of glory.

The Greek and Latin word ‘Gloria’ means splendour and brilliance. Jesus was filled with, and marked by, splendour, but of a different kind. John goes on to describe the glory they saw: glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Follow strictly the 10 ways to receive God’s glory:

1.    Praise:

May your ceaseless expressions be filled with unending praise for Him. Let the words that flow from your mouth be a constant hymn of adoration and gratitude towards His divine presence. May your heart be a sanctuary of worship, where His praise echoes eternally. Let your devotion resound through every moment of your existence as an offering of reverence to the.

Almighty. Is this the easiest way to gain all 10 methods of receiving God’s glory?

2.    Obedience

If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all His commands that I give you today, the Lord your God will set you above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God: Deuteronomy 28:1-2

3.    Pray in Jesus’ name:

Therefore, God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above every name. In the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, in heaven, on earth, and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11.

4.    Grow fruit of the Spirit.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things, there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23. We should pray for spiritual growth for ourselves and our children.

5.    Sexual purity.

God’s Word about purity concerns our hearts, minds, and souls. God calls us to live a holy life, free from evil and wickedness. Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually sins against their own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18. No one who engages in sexual sin can access any of the 10 ways to receive God’s glory. Period!

6.    Seek the good of others.

1 Corinthians 10:24 tells us, No one should seek their good, but the good of others. Also, Philippians 2:3-8 warns, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your interests but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus to glorify God.”,

10 ways to receive God's glory
Jesus is the source of light.

Who, being in the very nature of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped? Instead, he made himself nothing, taking on the very essence of a servant, being made in human likeness. Moreover, being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death, even death on a cross!

7.    Give generously.

Blessed is the one who considers the poor! In the day of trouble, the Lord delivers him; the Lord protects him and keeps him alive; he is called blessed in the land; you do not surrender him to the will of his enemies. The Lord sustains him on his sickbed; you restore him to full health in his illness. Psalm 41:1-2. There are benefits to giving.

8.    Live honourably among unbelievers.

Be diligent in filling your ceaseless days with the praise of the Almighty. In every moment, live honourably among unbelievers, demonstrating a character of righteousness that surpasses their accusations. By conducting yourself virtuously, they shall witness your honourable behaviour and, in turn, glorify God when He judges the world (1 Peter 2:12).

9.    Conform to the image of Christ.

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So, God created mankind in His image; in God’s image, He created them, male and female. This is God’s intention for man, His highest creation. He sees us humans through Christ.

10. Confront death with faith.

Jesus predicted that Peter would die as a martyr and “glorify God” in his death (John 21:19). Paul hoped that his death would glorify Christ (Phil. 1:20). Recall the 12 disciples who were martyred for this reason – to gain all 10 ways to receive God’s glory?

10 Ways to Receive God's Glory
Glory! Glory! Lord.

Remember that faith is the foundation for hope, enabling believers to confidently affirm that hope extends even beyond death. Now, if men can say, “Where there’s life, there’s hope,” a person of faith can confidently say, “Where there is death, there is hope,” for faith is the basis for hope beyond death.

A person seeking to be filled with God’s glory constantly can find guidance in this post titled “10 Ways to Receive God’s Glory Always.” Even the Bible verses about giving God glory mention all the benefits we can receive. This formal piece offers valuable insights into cultivating a continual attitude of praise to obtain God’s grace and glory.

How to have a successful Christian dating relationship

The importance of a Christian dating relationship

To fully understand how to have a successful Christian dating relationship, we must first grasp the perspective of the unbeliever on the subject of dating. For this reason, we can affirm with a significant degree of certainty that Wikipedia defines dating perfectly.

As a stage in a romantic relationship, two individuals engage in an activity together, usually to evaluate each other’s compatibility as potential partners in a future intimate relationship.

The aforementioned definition of dating describes two individuals engaging in an activity together to evaluate each other’s suitability as potential partners for an intimate relationship.

How to have a
Together in Christ.

For instance, some define “dating” as an intimate relationship between two individuals. In specific contexts, this relationship may be sexual; however, should it be? Therefore, we need to learn how to date as Christians.

Galatians 5:19 reminds us that the acts of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery. Furthermore, the Lord admonishes us, “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

For all that exists in the world, the lust of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, and the pride of life are not from the Father but from the earth. Furthermore, the world is passing away, along with its lust; yet he who does the will of God endures forever.

But is God not the creator of sex, some may ask? Yes, and here is why. God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it (Genesis 1:28).”

Having a successful Christian dating life is not a biblical principle.

Essentially, sex serves mainly for procreation, which is why the Bible addresses marriage starting with the first couple, Adam and Eve.

Others argue that dating can indeed be monogamous or open, serious or casual, straight or gay, short-term or long-term. These concepts are all constructed to suit and satisfy human desires.

Then someone may ask, “Are Christians not human beings?” Why shouldn’t they date? Yes, they are human beings and should date, but they should do so as Christians. Listen to what Jesus told his Father: “My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it” (John 17:15-16).

Christians can and should date, but according to the word of God, who protects them from Satan, the evil one. Like the Lord, they are not of this world. Instead of focusing on the flesh, they must prioritise their love for God.

How to have a
The love of God is our banner.

A Christian should not seek the approval of man, but rather that of God. Similarly, one ought not to strive to please a person who is likely unworthy of being a servant of Christ (Galatians 1:10).

Some may argue that specific dating processes, rules, and types of individuals are suitable for a Christian dating group. These are considerations to reflect on; however, one should always adhere to the guidelines on how to date as a Christian.

As we are all part of humankind, any Christian wishing to date should prioritise God in their lives and strive to please Him in all their actions, including in the area of dating.

The golden rules of dating do not exist.

To realise this, birds of a feather flock together. Just as Christians should marry fellow Christians, they ought to date them as well. Otherwise, dating may become a recipe for disaster. Thus, Proverbs 27:17 states, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”

We know that the priority in all things should always be the Lord (Luke 10:27 & Matthew 6:38). Additionally, believers ought not to date unbelievers due to the potential for marriage that may arise from a dating relationship. Bear in mind the Lord’s warning.

Do not be yoked with unbelievers. For what commonality do righteousness and wickedness share? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony exists between Christ and Belial? (2 Corinthians 6:14-15).

In dating, individuals often fall victim to infatuation, becoming overly obsessed with their new partner. This should not be the case. Conversely, it is essential to remember that there are significant differences between relationships and dating. Dating is inherently fluid and does not guarantee a long-term commitment to the individual in question.

The initial step in dating should always be a step of faith we take toward our Lord, Saviour, and greatest Treasure, King Jesus (Desiring God). Therefore, avoid jeopardising your Christian bond with the Lord by devoting excessive time, effort, and attention to pursuing dating or a new relationship.

How to have a meaningful and successful Christian dating experience is possible for anyone. When both of you, as Christians, commit to a faithful relationship with the Lord and seek to glorify Him in your lives, ensure that the person you are dating genuinely loves the Lord.

Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Another consideration is that on every date between believers, they must be mindful of one another’s connection to Jesus.

Are they actively growing in their journey with Christ? Do they wish to love Him above all else, including relationships or marriage? Are they ready to commit to learning how to have a successful Christian dating experience in His love?

Christians should remain mindful of their partner’s devotion to God. Many who overlooked this golden warning ended up marrying their parents, siblings, witches, wizards, and enemies. Therefore, they must continue to strive for their divine choice of partner.

However, when it comes to maintaining a proper perspective on dating, Christians should also avoid succumbing to desperation. Most individuals who date do not genuinely love one another; they share mutual affection and may experience a level of infatuation. Consequently, some churches oppose the practice of dating.

Therefore, certain church cultures, particularly in America, place a strong emphasis on marriage and apply pressure on unmarried believers to marry.

Indeed, it’s a way to initiate a relationship with someone you find intriguing. Within churches and Christian communities, there are numerous fascinating rules concerning dating. Some of these include refraining from holding hands or showing affection. Avoid sitting next to each other; instead, sit opposite one another.

Guidelines on how to have a successful Christian relationship.

How to have a
Divine connection.

They should date for a set period, with a chaperone present at each meeting. Consequently, they are planning to marry. However, the most effective rule within the church-Christian cycle is to avoid dating altogether.

Indeed, it is about waiting for a person’s “one true love” to arrive. “This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus” (Revelation 14:12).

Nevertheless, please note that before God, no woman on earth is barren (Galatians 4:27, Genesis 25:21), and every human being has a destined life partner. Regardless of the circumstances, even if you are experiencing a delay, with patience and by adhering to God’s principles, your destined life partner will surely find you.

Regrettably, many believers neglect to seek spiritual guidance or their divinely appointed future partner through fasting and prayer. They often overlook the importance of waiting for the person whom God has specifically chosen for them to marry.

Due to infatuation, impatience, mistakes, and other factors, many individuals are entering unsuitable marriages.

Ultimately, the essence of dating is to ensure that your future partner is a genuine born-again Christian and the right person for you. We belong to God; He who knows us hears us.

He who is not of God does not hear Him. Now, let us acknowledge that we possess the spirit of truth and not the spirit of error. We love Him because He first loved us. And it’s all about achieving successful Christian dating as a Christian that matters to you and your loved ones.

Verse of the day with the 7 most powerful verses in the Bible.

The Holy Spirit inspires daily sacrifices.

Verse of the Day

Verse of the day
They went to Berea to make trouble.

For Tuesday, 17 Feb, 2025, Verse of the Day.

But when the Jews in Thessalonica learned that Paul was preaching the word of God at Berea, some of them went there too, agitating the crowds and stirring them up.

—Acts 17:13 Verse of the Day.

Thoughts on Today’s Verse of the Day

Paul and his team travelled about 66 miles, or 106 kilometres, from Philippi to Thessalonica, and then 45 miles, or 72 kilometres, from Thessalonica to Berea. All these locations are in Macedonia within the Roman Empire.

Philippi is a Roman outpost where the inhabitants speak Latin and follow Roman laws more strictly. Thessalonica is a Greek free city, the largest city in Macedonia and its capital. Philippi does not seem to have enough Jews for a synagogue; Thessalonica and Berea do.

There isn’t much to explain here about the differences between each city and Paul’s message regarding Jesus’ offer of salvation. In Philippi, a Gentile businesswoman named Lydia, who joins other women by the river to pray to the Jewish God, eagerly welcomes Jesus’ salvation.

She hosts Paul and his team until they are forced to leave due to persecution by other Gentiles (Acts 16:11-40). In Berea, the Jews and God-fearing Gentiles in the synagogue take the time and effort to study the Scriptures to verify if Paul’s words are accurate. Their diligence affirms Paul’s message and enables it to spread throughout the city (Acts 17:11-12).

The Thessalonians, located between Philippi and Berea, respond quite differently. Some of the Jews and Gentiles in the synagogue believe Paul and follow him when he seemingly moves the church from the synagogue to the house of Jason (Acts 17:4). However, they do not provide financial support to Paul and his team—the church in Philippi does (Philippians 4:16; 1 Thessalonians 2:9; 2 Thessalonians 3:8).

Many of the Jews in Thessalonica reject their own Messiah because they value their position in society more (Acts 17:5). They not only attack the church and force Paul and Silas out of Thessalonica, but they also pursue Paul to Berea, forcing him to flee to Athens (Acts 17:10, 14–15).

One of the early church’s most common methods of persecution was inciting crowds. This happened to Paul in Philippi (Acts 16:22), Thessalonica (Acts 17:5), Ephesus (Acts 19:28–29), and Jerusalem (Acts 21:30). It also occurred to Jesus (Mark 15:11). The Bereans serve as an example of people who study and seek the truth rather than simply following the crowd. Verse of the Day.

My Prayer…

Heavenly Father, in the abundance of Your grace, we gather our hearts in reverent gratitude for the gifts You bestow upon us.

May Your Spirit inspire us to embrace hope and spread love, nurturing connections with one another and with You.

As we walk in faith, let us be vessels of Your kindness and peace, remembering that all we have is a reflection of Your divine generosity. — verse of the day.

Look no further. We present the seven most powerful Bible verses that will empower and affirm your spiritual journey. Embrace these timeless words from the Holy Scriptures and witness the transformative impact they can have on your life.

Verse of the day
Who can fathom the power of the Lord?

Genesis 1:28 – Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and every living thing that moves on the earth.

Exodus 34:10 – The Lord said, “I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people, I will do wonders that have never been done in any nation worldwide. The people you live among will see how excellent the work that I, the Lord, will do for you.

Genesis 8:22 – “As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.”The Psalm of Victory 23:5 – You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. The Lord provides for us more generously than our hearts can desire. The enemies can do nothing about God’s generosity but can only watch and admire the victory the Lord has given us.

Romans 8:38 – 38 – For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Isaiah 54:17 – No weapon formed against thee shall prosper, and thou shalt condemn every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment. This is the heritage of the LORD’s servants, whose righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Genesis 1:1 – In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. We shall largely adhere to the essential, fundamental, and unambiguous concepts. The Bible’s opening statements unequivocally declare that God, who we will eventually learn to be the God of Israel, created the earth and the sky. In other words, He made everything in the natural universe, including our globe and everything on it, the skies, the heavens, and outer space.

The benefits of being in the presence of the Lord

Why seek a close personal talking relationship with Jesus?

Why must you go through the Holy Spirit to perform the covenant time? Essentially, it is to seek closeness and intimacy and to develop a personal conversational relationship with Jesus. No wonder He said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them” (John 6:65). As we know, the benefits of being in the presence of the Lord are immense.

Typically, after salvation, a person’s love for God begins to well up and often even overflows. That is the Holy Spirit at work. Subsequently, one starts to desire and strive to be like Christ. At times, He may even conceal Himself from you to test your faith.

In reality, God’s will is for all of us, regardless of the circumstances. The Father intends to shape us into the image of Christ, forming us in His likeness. That is what He shall gradually make you become as you partake at His table in Mount Zion (Isaiah 25:6).

The Image of Christ is how God sees you.

The benefits of being
What a joy in His presence.

As far as God is concerned, our self-righteousness holds no value or effect on Him. It is a fact we must realise if we wish to experience the benefits of being in the presence of the Lord. Furthermore, it is vitally important to note that Adam is the one who fell; human beings did not fall. For that reason, Jesus called Himself “son of man while on the Earth.”

Therefore, since the moment Adam and Eve fell, devils and their human cohorts have steadily advanced. They continue to evolve into evil, ultimately harming themselves. They would never alter the earth’s foundation, for Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

It is equally important to recognise that Adam and Eve acquired flesh when they lost their spiritual bodies. As long as you can mortify your flesh, let all the devils, witches, and wizards on earth come against you; absolutely nothing can harm you.

They cannot afflict you in any significant way. They will fight against you but will never prevail over you, for I am with you to rescue you (Jeremiah 1:19).

The scripture states that when humans began to multiply on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God observed that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose (Genesis 6:1-2).

Can you believe that those referred to in the scripture as the sons of God were actually demons and are still marrying and having relations with women, both young and old, today?

You are conforming to His image while You Eat with Him.

The Benefits of being
Be in His presence.

The abomination that is rife in coven shrines and occult gatherings occurs with the knowledge and in the presence of parents, husbands, wives, and friends. In many families, witchcraft and sins of every kind have become a tradition.

Due to humanity’s countless and unbearable injustices and sins, God cannot directly look upon humankind except through Christ. For God to regard us, He sees us through Jesus Christ in the same way that we look through a mirror to see an image.

Thank God, Jesus Christ came to shed His blood for us on the cross at Calvary and used His blood to purchase us for God. This is the moment for us to strive to enjoy the benefits of being in the presence of the Lord.

Maybe by now, with all the Sodom and Gomorrah lifestyle gaining ground everywhere on the earth today. God could have called the shots again, as in the days of Noah. Thanks to Jesud, it would not have happened.

In Revelation 3:11, Jesus promises to “come soon,” which in this Greek context signifies something that will occur “quickly or suddenly,” not necessarily “a short time from now,” as many widely believe.

Nevertheless, the Day of Christ is remarkably close. Jesus’ arrival is imminent as we live in the era of divine disclosure. Therefore, it is vital to maintain a daily quiet time to enjoy the numerous benefits of communing with Jesus at His banquet table.

But the will of God for us is that we should have life and have it more abundantly, for Jesus came (John 10). This is why He desires for you to continue dining regularly at His table in Mount Zion.

He will concentrate on reducing the enemy’s vices in you to nearly 5%, while simultaneously increasing His fruit in you to the ideal 95%. His will is for you to conform to His image and be acceptable to God.

The benefits of being in the presence of the Lord.

The bottom line is that God now governs your life. Indeed, you are now Christ-like. You reflect Christ’s image, and the devil will have no choice but to flee from your life.

The benefits of being
Remember your daily devotion.

You can now state that a marvellous cleansing operation and deliverance have taken place in your life. Then, you can begin to enjoy God’s blessings, experiencing both uncommon and common breakthroughs.

Furthermore, if you do not retreat, slide towards the forsaken vices and continue to feast at His table.

God will wield His mighty hammer and longest nail to eliminate the remaining 5% of hard-to-reach vices, such as a hint of pride or other challenging sins, and replace them with His virtues. He will bestow upon you the Holy Spirit, filling you with wisdom, understanding, knowledge, an excellent spirit, and a sound mind.

Now that you have received the Holy Spirit, you can confidently assert that you have become a born-again Christian and a true member of the kingdom of Jesus Christ.

As Jesus Christ currently rules your life, you will begin to experience joy, peace, prosperity, and success in all your endeavours. Most importantly, you will start hearing from Him. The benefits of being in the presence of the Lord are as numerous as the grains of sand on the seashore, as you can see.

How to Keep Quiet Time with God and Maintain Intimacy

We must develop that father-child relationship.

And they heard the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day (Genesis 3:8). How the Lord cherishes intimacy by spending quiet time with a man he so loved that he gave his only begotten Son. Similarly, we must learn how to keep quiet time with God. Here lies the secret to developing that father-child relationship between us and God.

Consequently, the easiest way to have a close encounter with Jesus is by maintaining a regular engagement of 15, 30, 45 minutes, 1 hour, or more with the Holy Spirit. Thus, people refer to this as participating in Holy Ghost School, which includes daily quiet time, devotion, and more.

As this is a time for meditation or keeping a covenant with the Lord, who does not fail and whom you would not wish to fail, consider the most convenient time for you when selecting minutes, hours, or periods of the day—morning, afternoon, evening, or night.

Good morning, Holy Spirit. Learn how to keep quiet.

And visit the same closet at the same hour, sit in the same seat, read the Bible or devotional journals or books, or meditate in Spirit. Furthermore, ensure you stop at precisely the same time each day.

How to kee
The Lord He is God.

You will notice that the Holy Spirit keeps time. Even before you enter the closet, you see Him already there, waiting for you to teach you how to spend quiet time with God.

Keep your phone switched off, do not answer it if there is a knock at the door, and steer clear of any distractions.

Let’s say you choose 6 a.m. or 6:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. or p.m. daily. At 6 a.m., you’re seated, and at 7 a.m., you’re up on your feet. Now, focus on maintaining quiet time with God, but be mindful of distractions.

The secret to successful quiet timekeeping with the Lord is to regularly and strictly maintain your chosen time.

It is time (e.g., 6:00 am). Please do not take it for granted. Do make your presence known to the Holy Spirit. Speak, e.g., “Holy Spirit, I have come to the ark of Your presence at Your banquet table, good morning.”

Then, ask him to serve you the finest wheat, the best meat, and the most exquisite wine to drink. This is not a prayer session; you may pray before or after attending the Holy Ghost School. It is all about conversing with Him.

Do not miss how to keep quiet time with God.

How to Keep
It is the words of God.

Quiet time with God serves to nourish your spirit, enhancing the fruits of the Spirit within you while simultaneously eliminating the vices you were born with or those implanted by Satan.

Furthermore, as you are in His presence, the Lord also instructs you. Ask Him to come and guide you; open your Bible and read for 30 minutes, if you have decided on 30 minutes.

Study the Bible or use books for spiritual growth, personal development, and character transformation. They are the finest spiritual materials for maintaining quiet time with God.

While reading, remain in the Spirit and stay alert. He is watching you and can intervene at any moment. You are there to develop a communicative relationship with Him. Keep this in mind.

When you finish observing the covenant time each day, thank the Holy Spirit and close the Bible or the Christian spiritual book you are using.

You may pray if you haven’t done so before; otherwise, pray at any time. Jesus began with prayer and concluded with prayer. However, we are discussing how to maintain quiet time with God, not how to pray.

The Bible instructs us to pray without ceasing. As we remain faithful in fellowshipping with Him, He will begin to empower us.

Thus, gradually, with long nails and heavy hammers, He will begin to knock off those vices the devil has planted in you, one by one. As a result, you will notice spiritual outcomes as the devotion continues.

Implement it and see fantastic results.

When you enter the presence of God to partake at His table in your closet, at the time you have chosen, you may begin in this manner:

Good morning or afternoon, Father. Thank you for bringing me into your presence in Mount Zion to the ark this evening. Father, I am now ready to feast at your table.

Holy Spirit, nourish me with the finest wheat, the best meat, and the finest wine.

Father also offers me the bread of your presence and the water of life of Christ to drink (after a meal, one consumes water).

So that I may hunger and thirst no more; to hear from you audibly, in dreams, visions, revelation, sent words, or in any other way according to your will.

Thank you, Father, for granting me the power and authority to trample upon serpents and scorpions. Furthermore, I have the strength against the enemy, and nothing shall harm me in Jesus’ Name.

Thank you, Father, for filling me with the Spirit, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, excellent Spirit, and a sound mind. I seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness in everything I do, at all times. Therefore, add unto me all other things in Jesus’ Name.

Lastly, I thank you, Holy Spirit, for coming this morning to teach me all about God. Please open my eyes to understanding and help me grasp the natural and spiritual meanings of every word through this Bible or book.

Covenant-keeping time is having a talking relationship with God.

Then, open the Bible or a Christian spiritual book and study for the minutes or hours you agree upon with the Holy Spirit.

And straight away, it’s time to stop, mark the page, and continue from there the next day.

You begin and conclude the devotion by expressing gratitude to Him. Spending quiet time with God is, indeed, intriguing.

Final Greetings to End the Quiet Time with God:

Thank you, Holy Spirit, for leading me to the ark of your presence on Mount Zion and nourishing me at your table with the finest wheat, the best meat, and the finest wine.

Father, thank you also for giving me the bread of presence and the water of life of Christ to drink so that I hunger and thirst no more.

Thus, I can hear you audibly, in dreams, visions, revelations, sent words, or any other means you may choose. Father, thank you for establishing a perfect talking relationship with me.

How to keep
Holy Ghost School.

Thank you, Father, for granting me the power and authority to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing shall, by any means, hurt me in Jesus’ name.

Thank you, Father, for filling me with the Spirit, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, an excellent spirit, and a sound mind. I seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness in everything I do and at all times. Therefore, you shall add unto me all other things in Jesus’ Name. Amen

Do this every day as you dine with Him at His table, and it shall be well with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. This is how to maintain quiet time with God.

Do you ask the Father 4 clarity before tithing?

It is vital that we continuously seek His guidance.

All that is required is do you ask the Father before giving a tithe to the Church. It is a common and wise practice. Above all, what is essential for the Lord is to do what He says, not our wishes, no matter how noble and pleasing the idea may be.

Despite that, pagans and religious charlatans understand this particular God’s principle. Even though they knowingly prefer materialism to obeying God’s commands.

In addition, Samuel told Saul, “I am the one the Lord sent to anoint you, king, over his people, Israel. So, listen now to the message from the Lord. Now go, attack the Amalekites, and destroy all that belongs to them.”

Do you ask the Father
Jesus commands us to give, not to tithe.

Saul believed he had acted correctly. He replied, “But I obeyed the Lord. I went on the mission the Lord assigned me. I destroyed the Amalekites and brought back Agag, their king.” Today, one would ask him Do you ask the Father before executing the job the way you did it?

But was that the instruction God gave him? No! It’s all about carrying out His orders correctly. Let us strive to listen to and obey the word of God. His word is always specific because God is a spirit.

No wonder you cannot see His face and live. That is why we must ask ourselves the question before tithing: “Am I doing the will of God, or am I only pleasing the pastor or myself?” And remember, the question is nothing more than whether you ask the Father before giving a tithe?

Furthermore, the Father was specifically identified with the Jews in the Old Testament. He told them, “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me on this.”,

Remember, do you ask the Father before tithing?

During the allotment of territory, the Levites did not receive any land, as they were the Lord’s inheritance. This meant that the other eleven tribes were responsible for providing for their own needs through farming and feeding them.

The same God who is Jesus did not instruct us to tithe. In Matthew 23:23 and Luke 11:42, He spoke of almsgiving, reprimanding the Pharisees’ self-righteousness.

Many ministers may be sincere. They collect tithes to perform good deeds. However, our Lord Jesus never asks His followers, Christians, to tithe, regardless of the interpretation of self-interest that we present.

Food obtained through fraud is akin to coercion for tithes. The Bible tells us that food gained by fraud tastes sweet. Yet, one ultimately ends up with a mouthful of gravel. Therefore, do not coerce your church members if you truly trust God.

Do you ask the Father
Not to partake in tithing that Jesus has not requested of me.

Consider how wonderfully God could use you and your Church. To provide for widows, orphans, and others in need, you must test Him. Reflect on following His directive and witness His grace. He is the Lord.

A lady went to a Pentecostal church early one morning. She returned home late at night, barefoot. Due to the pastor’s coercion, the church members pledged various properties. Most of these con artists employ witchcraft to seduce and plunder their congregants.

The Holy Spirit predicted that these frauds would not be terrified of hellfire. They shall be when the time arrives. He is the God of principles, and it does not matter whether one agrees with Him or not.

Steer clear of King Saul’s mistake when paying tithes.

After making all the money on Earth, you know, He has rules to follow. As a pastor, you collect tithes and other dubious payments. You can’t escape from him—Jonah tried!

Rest assured, you will pay with your souls when the time comes. Do you ask the Father’s guidance before giving a tithe? What profit is there in gaining the whole world but losing one’s soul?

Please inform any Pope, Bishop, G.O., Pastor, Evangelist, Teacher, etc., where in the New Testament Jesus stated that Aaron, invariably a minister, should collect the tithes.

At least in Malachi 3:10, the Lord was clear to the Jews: “Bring all the tithes…”. Christians worldwide wish to know.

So, please tell us where Jesus explicitly asked us in the New Testament to tithe. When responding, kindly provide proof from the Bible, as it is a reliable source that cannot be challenged, to avoid making grand rhetorical claims regarding what you do or might do with the collection.

Do you ask the Father
Jesus prefers it.

We believe you are a genuine man of God serving the Holy Spirit in your capacity, but you are doing what He did not ask you to do by collecting tithes. Is that correct? Otherwise, shouldn’t Samuel admonish you as he reprimanded King Saul?

If you pay tithes but constantly question yourself: Do you ask the Father before giving a tithe to the Church? The scripture says that if anyone knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t, it is a sin for them (James 4:17). Remember to obey the Lord in all things.

The History of Tithing in the Church- Battle 1

Denominational churches operate without collecting tithes.

Indeed, denominational churches do not collect tithes. So, who created it? To fully understand this fact, we must study the history of the origin of churches in Africa. We must then thoroughly explore the history of tithing in the church and uncover its origins. They have flourished in various communities throughout Africa for decades, if not centuries.

History of Tithing
Church represents a collective effort, not a private enterprise.

We need to investigate the reasons for their success preceding the emergence of the Pentecostal Church and demonstrate that churches can operate and flourish without relying on tithes.

The History of Tithing in the Church and Who Is Benefiting.

Christianity first arrived in West Africa with the Portuguese during the 15th century. By 1652, the Dutch Reformed Church began to spread to Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, and southern Africa.

Even so, these churches did not introduce the concept of tithing until the influx of Pentecostals many years later. They created it. As we can see from the History of Tithing in the Church, who are the later arrivals, if not the Pentecostals?

However, it was after the London Missionary Society sent David Livingstone to Southern Africa in 1840 that the continent of Africa caught the “missionary fever.”

Conversely, the desire to convert Africans to Christianity and promote literacy intensified. The primary motivation was the Europeans’ ambition to colonise Africa. An additional aim was to Christianise the continent and enhance literacy.

However, this particular post will refrain from detailing the benefits and drawbacks of Christianisation in Africa to focus on the Church’s activities regarding funding. These activities were examined through the lens of the History of Tithing in the Church and who first introduced it to their followers.

History of Tithing
Jesus instructed Christians to make offerings.

Undoubtedly, the missionaries established and managed churches through the collective efforts of their members. Much like the early Church (Acts 4:32), tithing was unknown to them. They were focused on the collective benefit, unlike Pentecostal churches, which tend to operate as private businesses for their pastors.

How denominational churches do not tithe.

For example, my village’s Anglican Church does not finance its activities through tithes. Instead, it relies on stewardship and donations from Sunday service offerings to support its programmes. “All the believers were on the same page when they carried out that action,” the Bible says.

As we know, denominational churches do not collect tithes. Who introduced them? Save the Pentecostals!

Once more, the scripture says, “Nobody claimed ownership of their goods; they all shared what they had.” Why do Pentecostals observe Jewish tithes if not for the sake of business?

Furthermore, “No one was in need since God’s grace worked so effectively in each of them. People with land or homes usually sold them, brought the proceeds, and laid them at the apostles’ feet. So that anybody in need could receive their share” (Acts 4:32–35).

Since the arrival of denominational churches in Africa, why didn’t they introduce the concept of tithing before the arrival of Pentecostals?

Is it possible that the worshippers overlooked Malachi 3:6-15 in the Bible? Why did they not adopt tithing, or could it be that they do not have financial needs?

However, to grasp the introduction of the concept of tithing, we must recognise its evolution in Africa. First, under the leadership of Liberian preacher William Wade Harris, Pentecostalism spread:

In Southern Africa in 1908.

Plus tard, en 1914, via la Côte d’Ivoire.

Ghana.

In the following decades, Pentecostal denominations expanded:

In South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, and Nigeria.

Tithing in Christianity is not considered an ordinance from Christ.

Furthermore, it is not merely an oversight that Christ did not address tithes. After all, He is omniscient. Indeed, tithing is a phenomenon associated with Pentecostalism as we currently understand it; therefore, it functions as a deceptive tool of Pentecostalism.

History of Tithing
Tithing is a biblical principle, not a strictly Christian concept.

Not even in the almsgiving, Matthew 23:23 and Luke 4:42, did He mention anything about things. Does Jesus ask us to tithe 10% of our income to the Church? Neither the apostles nor Christ ever requested tithes for the early Church. What a scam!

Malachi 3:6-15 represents a Jewish practice—a typical tradition of contributing to the support of Levites, the temple workers. It remains a cherished Mosaic law for the Judaizers to this day.

What are the outcomes of paying tithes to Pentecostal pastors?

The main consequence of church tithing is the influx of charlatans into the Lord’s vineyard. Moreover, many impostors utilise demons to prophesy to the children of the Almighty.

These charlatans have no interest in serving the Holy Ghost and attaining heaven. In contrast, they merely seek to profit by demanding tithes from churchgoers. Consequently, coercion of members must cease, and no church member should allow themselves to be coerced.

We have examined the history of tithing in the Church and the individuals behind it. Anything not from God is against Him. Is it not a deliberate wickedness to defraud those who trust in your teachings? They consistently exploit the emotions of the congregation, leading them to succumb to duplicity. What a sin.
