How to Keep Quiet Time with God and Maintain Intimacy

We must develop that father-child relationship.

And they heard the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day (Genesis 3:8). How the Lord cherishes intimacy by spending quiet time with a man he so loved that he gave his only begotten Son. Similarly, we must learn how to keep quiet time with God. Here lies the secret to developing that father-child relationship between us and God.

Consequently, the easiest way to have a close encounter with Jesus is by maintaining a regular engagement of 15, 30, 45 minutes, 1 hour, or more with the Holy Spirit. Thus, people refer to this as participating in Holy Ghost School, which includes daily quiet time, devotion, and more.

As this is a time for meditation or keeping a covenant with the Lord, who does not fail and whom you would not wish to fail, consider the most convenient time for you when selecting minutes, hours, or periods of the day—morning, afternoon, evening, or night.

Good morning, Holy Spirit. Learn how to keep quiet.

And visit the same closet at the same hour, sit in the same seat, read the Bible or devotional journals or books, or meditate in Spirit. Furthermore, ensure you stop at precisely the same time each day.

How to kee
The Lord He is God.

You will notice that the Holy Spirit keeps time. Even before you enter the closet, you see Him already there, waiting for you to teach you how to spend quiet time with God.

Keep your phone switched off, do not answer it if there is a knock at the door, and steer clear of any distractions.

Let’s say you choose 6 a.m. or 6:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. or p.m. daily. At 6 a.m., you’re seated, and at 7 a.m., you’re up on your feet. Now, focus on maintaining quiet time with God, but be mindful of distractions.

The secret to successful quiet timekeeping with the Lord is to regularly and strictly maintain your chosen time.

It is time (e.g., 6:00 am). Please do not take it for granted. Do make your presence known to the Holy Spirit. Speak, e.g., “Holy Spirit, I have come to the ark of Your presence at Your banquet table, good morning.”

Then, ask him to serve you the finest wheat, the best meat, and the most exquisite wine to drink. This is not a prayer session; you may pray before or after attending the Holy Ghost School. It is all about conversing with Him.

How to Keep
It is the words of God.

Covenant-keeping time is having a talking relationship with God.

Then, open the Bible or a Christian spiritual book and study for the minutes or hours you agree upon with the Holy Spirit.

And straight away, it’s time to stop, mark the page, and continue from there the next day.

You begin and conclude the devotion by expressing gratitude to Him. Spending quiet time with God is, indeed, intriguing.

Final Greetings to End the Quiet Time with God:

Thank you, Holy Spirit, for leading me to the ark of your presence on Mount Zion and nourishing me at your table with the finest wheat, the best meat, and the finest wine.

Father, thank you also for giving me the bread of presence and the water of life of Christ to drink so that I hunger and thirst no more.

Thus, I can hear you audibly, in dreams, visions, revelations, sent words, or any other means you may choose. Father, thank you for establishing a perfect talking relationship with me.

Holy Ghost School.

Do this every day as you dine with Him at His table, and it shall be well with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. This is how to maintain quiet time with God.
