Verse of the DayÂ

For Monday, Sept 16 2025, Verse of the Day.
That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you.
—Galatia 5:8 Verse of the Day.
Thoughts on Today’s Verse of the Day
Paul pointedly asked his Galatian readers: Who has hindered them in the race of following Christ? They were “running well” by following the truth of salvation through faith alone (Galatians 3:23-29).
Who redirected their course so that they are no longer adhering to the truth? In this segment, Paul appears to be alluding to someone specific rather than the general group of Judaizers who attempted to add rituals to the gospel (Galatians 2:4).
Now, Paul insists that this person—the false teacher—is not the one who “calls” them. At the beginning of his letter, Paul identified God as the one calling the Galatians through the grace of Christ (Galatians 1:6). In other words, God desires them. He is encouraging them to trust in Christ.
They should not be misled—”hindered” or tripped up—by thinking that the words of a false teacher are from the Lord. Instead, this person is teaching a false version of the gospel (Galatians 1:6-7), leading those who listen astray. — Verse of the Day.
My Prayer…
Lord, I ask that You pour out Your grace and mercy upon them, granting them the strength and courage to overcome any challenges they face. May Your favour surround them, opening opportunities for success and abundance.
I also pray for the manifestation of Your Holy Spirit in their lives. Let Your Spirit guide them, providing wisdom, discernment, and peace in their decisions. May they walk in Your light and righteousness, drawing closer to You each day.
Lord, I trust in Your unfailing love and ask that You surround my loved ones with Your protection and provisions. May they experience Your goodness and blessings in every part of their lives. — verse of the day.
